Birds On the Blog

Birds On the Blog

There’s a new blog that’s really flying, attracting a huge audience with its eclectic mix of stimulating and sometimes controversial topics.

Birds on the Blog is a new magazine style site featuring women owners and managers of businesses seeking to inspire, share information and engage with other like minded people.

The blog already features a wide range of  topics, from advice on SEO and tips on branding to diversity in the workplace and sales techniques, plus such diverse subjects as  modern art, how to perform a handbrake turn and essential recipes for Blackberry Vodka and Blackberry Vodka Chocolate. But what sets it aside is that, aside from the interesting and wide range of topics mentioned, it also sets out to challenge your thinking, motivate you to improve your own businesses and personal development and engage you with interactive forums.

What’s more, there is always room for guest bloggers, so if you have an interesting topic or point of view, then get in touch on the website.

So come and find out what it’s all about by visiting www.birdsontheblog.co.uk - and become a fan on facebook!

Blog to The Top With BTTradespace

Mykitchenstore at No.1 on Google

Whoop, whoop! Less than 2 months after launching, Mykitchenstore has reached pole position on a Google search term, thanks to the power of BTTradespace.

If you needed any persuading that a BTTradespace can have a positive impact on your business, then this should certainly help.

Mykitchenstore is a fledgling site and we have been using BTTradespace almost since launch, gaining steady traffic along the way. But yesterday I noticed a spike in our stats and set out to investigate. The links led back to our Tradespace and on looking at our reports, I found that a Blog I had written less than 24 hours before about Chrome Wire Baskets had generated a higher number of hits than any other – so I googled it.

And amazingly, we appeared not just on the first page of Google, but in the No.1 spot – above Amazon! I think that’s a great achievement for a site which has barely launched, in what is a very competitive market - and its down to the SEO prowess of the BTTradespace team.

Most of us have become aware of the exceptional power that blogging has – and numerous people more qualified than I have offered detailed and helpful advice on what to do and how to do it. Mine is less eloquent, no doubt, but nonetheless I hope it helps inspire everyone running a small business: Sst up a BTTradespace and then blog, blog, blog – and when you’re all blogged out, blog some more!

I love it that we are up there with the profit reaping giants; we can all be up there. It’s easy cheesy, just keeeeeep blogging!
