Forbes Woman

A Forbes Woman Top Site

I’m delighted to say that Birds on the Blog has been voted amongst the Top 100 sites Worldwide by the prestigious Forbes Woman.

Birds on the Blog offers current, entertaining and informative articles written by a group of successful business women. It was started by Sarah Arrow of Arrow Light Haulage and has quickly developed a large and loyal audience with its eclectic and often inspiring content.

The site also has a meaningful purpose – proceeds of much of the activity are used to help fund the education of twin girls in Uganda, named Perfect and Pretty. You can read their story here. The girls Mother is unable to fund their schooling without support and so if you can make a donation to help, it would be much appreciated.

I am proud to contribute to the site and pass on my congratulations to Sarah and all the other Birds for their fabulous efforts.

Birds On the Blog

Birds On the Blog

There’s a new blog that’s really flying, attracting a huge audience with its eclectic mix of stimulating and sometimes controversial topics.

Birds on the Blog is a new magazine style site featuring women owners and managers of businesses seeking to inspire, share information and engage with other like minded people.

The blog already features a wide range of  topics, from advice on SEO and tips on branding to diversity in the workplace and sales techniques, plus such diverse subjects as  modern art, how to perform a handbrake turn and essential recipes for Blackberry Vodka and Blackberry Vodka Chocolate. But what sets it aside is that, aside from the interesting and wide range of topics mentioned, it also sets out to challenge your thinking, motivate you to improve your own businesses and personal development and engage you with interactive forums.

What’s more, there is always room for guest bloggers, so if you have an interesting topic or point of view, then get in touch on the website.

So come and find out what it’s all about by visiting www.birdsontheblog.co.uk - and become a fan on facebook!
